Important Dates in 2019
Polka Tots starts Thursday Mar 7 for 6 weeks ending Apr 11 2019. Polka Tots is for children aged 7+ who hope to start lessons in September 2019. This gives them a fun friendly introduction to Irish Music. The cost is €20 for the 6 weeks. The class runs from 6-6.30pm.
Please be mindful when you are booking family holidays etc of the Fleadh Cheoil dates. If your child is participating in Grupa Cheoil or Céilí band it is important that they are available on these dates - and if they cannot - that the relevant teacher is informed as soon as possible. it is branch policy that those children who have participated in the previous competition move on to the next one (eg. Leinster moving onto All Ireland) if they are placed. The dates are as follows:
Dublin Fleadh : May 11 - 12 2019 St. David’s CBS, Artane
Leinster Fleadh : Fleadh Laighean will be held in Athboy, Co.Meath. Music and singing competitions will be held on 13th and 14th July 2019. A full week of events will commence on the 8th July.
